On Friday, October 12, Hunter Bridwell, digital media developer, and Eric Kunnen, associate director of eLearning visited Atomic Object. Jeff Williams, managing partner at Atomic Object took Hunter and Eric through their offices. Atomic Object is a local custom software application company with offices in Grand Rapids and Detroit. The staff of Atomic Object provided donations during the construction of the Mary Idema Pew Library Learning and Information Commons to help establish the Atomic Object Technology Showcase.
During their visit, a variety of topics were discussed including the growth and value of the Atomic Object Technology Showcase at GVSU, the Atomic Accelerator program for recent student graduates, agile software development, scrum processes, design thinking, user interface design, and learning about how Atomic Object works with clients.
